Unchaining Our Dogs In York Region and Everywhere Else

First let me thank you for visiting my website, and blog. Thanks for signing my petition if you have and if you haven't well thank you for considering it and educating yourself on the matter. It ALL counts.

I have received many emails and comments from residents who have painfully watched chained dogs in neighbors yards, sometimes for years. We can all end this, now, we just need to speak up.

UPDATE: The Town of Bradford East Gwillimbury sent me a letter in response to my concern of chained dogs stating "Staff has not received any complaints to date regarding dogs that are chained."

If you live in Bradford and know of a chained dog, make it a concern since they are only going on what people have to say about it. It's really up to people like you and me to make our voice heard. Please visit www.eastgwillimbury.ca

Right now I have two dogs I would like to bring to attention. The first is Cindy.

Cindy is a German Shepherd/Cattle Dog cross (seen above). She is very sweet, intelligent, and has the softest coat you can imagine. She's been at the shelter for awhile and would LOVE a home. She really deserves one. If you are interested in a pretty 4 year old girl please visit www.kennel-inn.com

The other girl I wanted to bring to your attention is the beautiful Rosalie!! She's such a sweet dog around the same age as Cindy, very calm, laid back, loves to give kisses. Rosalie is one sweet, sweet, girl!. She is about a 4 year old Rottiweiler from York Region. A total sweetie pie. She really would like a home that will appreciate her! Some dogs...

So the girl on the left is Trella which is spanish for star. She is a rare black Griffon Wirehaired Terrier who I adore. She is so sweet. Emmerson is the prancing Jack Russell Terrier who probably has one of the sweetest faces I've seen. Zeeby is a German Sheppard Puppy who is gorgeous. Falene is very sweet and has been there the longest (not her first visit!) as her owners abandoned her. Calix is the dalmation border collie who is EXTREMELY smart but in a very good way.

Ellie

There are many different varieties of dogs that come into shelters/pounds. I've had the pleasure of meeting a handful of breeds, giving them a name, taking their photographs which lead to their inevitable adoptions. The girl to the left is Ellie, a black lab mix, who's small for a black lab.

The Stray Blog Dog

I do a lot of photos of stray dogs that I have the pleasure of currently naming and putting up for adoption. A place for me to post pics, their stories and et cetera.
